Youth Entrepreneurship Camps & Programs

From Biz KIDZ Camp to after-school programs, youth are our future and next generation business leaders! Each community is similar in the fact that all communities have extra-ordinarily creative young people eager to become engaged and equipped to set their own course with their amazing imaginations. Capture their energy, attitude and vision for their future and the future of your community.
We work with collaboratively with organizations serving your community and group through powerful partnerships to coordinate and facilitate 4-day camps and after-school programs utilize the University of Nebraska Extension’s 4-H EntrepreneurShip Investigation (ESI) Camp Guide. This curriculum is used nationally and internationally for youth ages 10-14 (entering 5th-8th grade). The camp materials and activities teach the basics of starting your own business, including product & service development, business development, loans and financing, marketing & salesmanship, pricing, customer service, merchandising & more. Over the course of the program your young people will be inspired, engaged, equipped and encouraged to take their business ideas into motion, to create their products and services, to develop their marketing and sales materials and to sell their wares for real money!

Enhancing, Developing, and Growing Entrepreneurs (EDGE) workshops provide the structure and teaching to enable business owners to take back control of their business. It provides a road map to kick-start new business ventures, whether starting new or purchasing an existing business. EDGE workshops are most effective when they include up to 10 businesses. The overall goal is for participants to leave the course with a comprehensive business plan. However, each business will take away what they put into it. Some may wish to focus on financials or marketing planning, while others wish to be more thorough. Ultimately, we want all to leave with a thorough understanding and equipped for success in all aspects of running an effective business.
As a certified NxLeveL/Nebraska EDGE facilitator, we utilize a curriculum which is used to inspire and equip participants with the process, tools and resources necessary to prepare an effective business plan helping you gain confidence, direction and a working action plan to move your idea or venture forward, or to make informed, tough decisions if you learn your idea or business is not feasible or needing to be adapted.
